Frequently Asked
Questions

Every pair of Prairie Forge spurs is built by hand in our Texas workshop, using traditional metalworking techniques refined over decades of practice.
What materials are used in your spurs?

All Prairie Forge spurs are hand-forged from premium .925 sterling silver. Select models feature copper overlay accents and hand-cut inlays. Every component is built for durability, balanced weight, and long-term performance.

How do I care for my spurs?

Clean your spurs with a soft silver polishing cloth after use. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Store in the provided felt-lined case and apply silver protectant annually to maintain luster and prevent tarnishing.

Do you offer custom spur designs?

Yes. We accept custom commissions for riders seeking specific shank lengths, rowel styles, engraving patterns, or silver overlay configurations. Contact us directly to discuss your requirements and timeline.

What is your shipping policy?

All orders ship free within the continental United States via insured, tracked shipping. Orders typically ship within 2–4 weeks as each pair is handcrafted to order. International shipping is available at additional cost.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with your spurs, return them in original condition for a full refund. Custom orders are non-refundable but are covered by our craftsmanship warranty.

Do you offer a warranty?

Every pair of Prairie Forge spurs is backed by a lifetime craftsmanship warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. We stand behind every pair we build.
