Our Craftsmanship
Traditional Metalwork, Performance-Driven Design

The Process
Every pair of Prairie Forge spurs begins as raw sterling silver. Our artisans shape each component by hand — from the initial forging and shank construction through detailed engraving and final finishing.
This process takes over 40 hours per pair, ensuring that every spur meets our standards for balance, precision, and structural integrity. We don’t rush the work, and we don’t cut corners.
Materials & Quality
We work exclusively with premium .925 sterling silver and select metals chosen for durability, workability, and long-term performance. Our copper overlays and inlays are hand-cut and fitted — never stamped or machine-applied.
Every finish is applied by hand, from antique patinas to mirror-polished surfaces. The result is equipment that performs consistently and develops character over years of use.

Traditional Craftsmanship
